Collection of essays
This anthology includes both prose and verses by Qalandar Shah (d. 1879) and some other sufi writings. There is also a short essay on medicine which is dedicated to Mahd-i ʻUlya. Most parts are dated between 1839 and 1874. There are some letters in the manuscript as well including Qaʼim Maqam letters to ʻAbbas Mirza, the Crown Prince.

Compilation of letters and prayers
Several pieces of correspondence, some in Arabic, some in Persian, one addressed to "6" and one to "53." Three have dates: the first letter is addressed to "Mu‘azzamah ‘Izz" [probably his sister ‘Izziyah Khanum], dated 20 May 1883 [13 Rajab 1300], not in Subh-i Azal's handwriting; possibly a different person has copied all these letters, since the entire set has one kind of handwriting and one color of ink (except for the seventh letter) and is organized as a booklet. Correspondence of Surur al-Saltanah and Amir Hushang
Correspondence between Surur al-Saltanah (daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk and wife of ‘Abd al-Husayn Taymurtash) and her son, Amir Hushang Taymurtash: 1- Surur al-Saltanah writes to Hushang in London from Berlin, and, among other things, discusses the problems with finding a place for Hushang to stay during the break. She mentions how busy Papa (Taymurtash) is with the negotiations about the oil treaty (December 17, 1932); 2- Surur al-Saltanah's letter to Hushang, sending greetings to Mr. Nuri and Dr. Young, and thanking her son for his Sunday prayer for his parents....

After greetings, the writer informs the addressee about their arrival and mentions giving up the garden since there was no one to plow and take care of it, that the girls, Sayyidah Tahirah, and Sayyid Abu Turab are doing well; requests some pills for Sayyid Abu Turab; discusses getting two tumans from Karbalayi Aqa Riza and praying for Aqa Sayyid ‘Ali; sends greetings on behalf of Sayyid Abu Turab and the mother and sisters of the addressee; mentions the sister's request for a set of spoons and a face veil; and asks to send rice for the house.

Letter from Riza al-Safavi al-Musavi al-Husayni Isfahani to Navvabah Safa’ Khanum about the hardships he and his children went through despite his hard work reciting Rawzah and writing prayers in Yazd for ten months to make money. Then, he talks about his decision to go back to his hometown as he was not able to provide for his family in the harsh cold weather, and how he has lost his wife on the way and his two sons have become ill. He asks for Navvabah Safa’ Khanum’s generosity to get support for the expenses of their trip.

Letter from Sarah Clock to Miss Boylan, 1910
The writer talks about arriving to Batumi; their concern about carrying medicine in the trunk of their car without having permission, but the customs officers did not find them; getting a plate full of nuts and candied fruit from ‘Abd al-Baha’, saving most of it, and giving some to their host; and a promise to their host to get a letter from the addressee that describes the details about Meshkat el Azkar [Mashriq al-Adhkar].
